HelloInfo is proud and excited to announce that we have added a new member to the team!
Bernie has over 17 years of experience in market intelligence and has joined HelloInfo as a Senior Consultant. He has extensive experience in setting-up and managing intelligence programs for clients across industries, and providing customers with research and insights to support strategic decision making.
To introduce himself, Bernie has answered some questions:
Q: What do you love about your job?
The thing I love most about my job is the people that I work with. I have a long, fruitful, and fulfilling relationship with all my HelloInfo colleagues, going back as far as 17 years, and I’m so grateful to be working with them again to serve some incredible clients!
Q: What is your proudest work accomplishment to date?
One of my proudest work accomplishments to date is seeing a key client make a major strategic decision based directly on recommendations from a project I worked on. I conducted a market assessment of one of the client’s main business segments, and our findings helped them make the difficult decision to divest the multibillion-dollar business.
Q: What is your favorite keyboard shortcut?
My favorite keyboard shortcut is Alt+Tab which helps you switch from app window to app window. When working on a project deliverable I usually have many documents and apps open, and Alt+Tab makes it super quick to toggle between them and keeps me organized and efficient in my work.
Q: What’s one thing you are currently trying to make a habit?
One good habit I’m currently applying to my regular workflow is having a clean email inbox. In the past I’ve had issues with managing my inbox (I’m talking hundreds of thousands of emails!). With my new start at HelloInfo, I am adopting the inbox zero method.
Q: What did you learn from your mom?
My mom did anything and everything for her kids. She was a loving, selfless parent, and not one day goes by where I don’t ask myself, “What would my mom have done or said about this situation?”. She was the best mom I could ever ask for, and my goal is for my kids to be able to say the same about me as a dad!
Q: What was your first job?
My first job was at a math school as an assistant and tutor. It was a dream first job because I got to work with my mom who co-ran the math school, and I helped kids improve their math skills. I love math!
Q: Are you an early bird or a night owl?
I am definitely a night owl, which works quite well at home as my wife is an early bird. She is great at getting the day going in the morning and I like to catch up on chores and wrap things up in the evening.
